David Bridgman, Naturopathic Practitioner
I've been a Nutritionist and Natural Health Care Practitioner for the past 29 years and a Kinesiology Instructor and Practitioner for the past 19 years. Prior to settling in Queensland, I traveled across Australia assisting in the establishment of natural healthcare clinics from Perth to Bundaberg.
I first learned about goji from a friend who was kind enough to send  me an email on May 15,  2004,  which  I  still have  to  this
day. After reading the research, I decided that if the juice from this tiny red fruit was even half as good as it sounded, then I had to get some for myself and my patients.
Goji juice has not disappointed me. You see, we have been utilizing bio-resonance testing in the clinic for years to determine the effectiveness of various supplements and remedies. This testing picks up on the bio-energetic signals from a substance, amplifies them, and then sends the signal into the various acupuncture meridians of the body to gauge the effects on the organ energy. After thousands of tests using this procedure with goji, I have observed a consistent energizing affect on more than 98 percent of the people tested. This is an extremely unusual result, as most of the time the best supplements and formulas only show a benefit to about 60 percent of those people who are tested.
I have also seen incredible results associated with changes in blood tests. Some of those changes were so surprising that the lab tests were called into question and queried, only to prove that they were indeed correct. The most common results I have observed from these tests include:
Increases in hemoglobin
Increases in white cell count
Improved clotting time in the blood with a reduction in the need for anti-coagulants
But most importantly, I have seen people with life-threatening illnesses who are getting their lives back. Two cases come to mind that are particularly notable. In one case, a fellow was suffering from of Bronchiecstasis, a severe lung condition that results in chronic infection and usually requires surgery. This particular patient was on the list for a lung transplant when I recommend that he begin using goji juice. Much to his surprise, after just eight weeks of using goji, his doctor advised him that he no longer qualified for the transplant list because his lungs had started to repair themselves. The event was repeated when this fellow advised another patient on the lung transplant list to do the same thing - drink goji daily. Together, these two men are now working their way down the list of potential lung transplant recipients and helping them to discover goji juice, too.
The other case involves a lady in her thirties who virtually has no immune system. Her therapy for this includes having Immunoglobulin (Intragam) transfused directly into her blood every three weeks. The side effects from this treatment are shocking, and include nausea and pain. Since using goji juice for the past two months, it now appears that her body is rebuilding her Immunoglobulin levels, and she is recovering much more quickly from her treatments than before she was drinking goji - just 24 hours instead of about a week. She looks so well that people are asking her what she is doing, as they know how ill she has been for years.
I have been amazed at the variety of conditions that respond to goji. I believe that if goji juice can be placed in the hands of people worldwide, it will have a more profound effect on world health than any other substance I have ever seen.
